Meet Linda McCoy, co-owner of The QuiltingLadi’s Emporium in North Bend alongside Michael Dollarhide. From their beginnings at Pony Village Mall to special orders shipped across the country, Linda shares a little about the business in her own words.
How did your business get started?
We started at Pony Village Mall in the hall in front of Joann’s. We also participated with the Veterans group in their spaces for four years. Then we were able to get a storefront and have been there for three years.
What’s a memorable part of your journey?
We have taken orders from Illinois, Florida, and other areas.
What makes The QuiltingLadi’s Emporium special?
Everything is handmade. Watching people in awe of all the handmade things is special. We are also able to do special orders and sew patches on Coast Guard uniforms, as well as leather vests and jackets.
I also have a long-arm quilting machine and can quilt for other people. We are able to ship anywhere in the U.S.
By the way, we are also dog-friendly! We also give a Veterans discount.
Do you offer special pricing?
We frequently have special pricing on various items.
