My mom bought a cabin in manzanita when I was nine. Been coming up here (few times a year) for a while(I live in LA). I don’t have many friends and going so long without regular social interaction has made me kinda bad at talking and socializing. I’d love to make some friends along the coast tho. I love driving and regularly road trip up the coast with my dog. So you don’t have to be in manzanita, I don’t mind making a trip :]. I love art, nature, horror movies, and sad music. I have four hyperactive boys who are very attached to their screens. I talked to a few other PTA moms, so I know a lot of parents are dealing with the same thing (especially now that it’s summer). My husband and I were hoping to find other parents of kids 5-8 who would like to join us for a potential hike/game day. We hope that playing games with other kids could encourage them to spend more time outside.

Big Creek Park has shaded picnic tables and barbecues for us to use. We were thinking of finding an easy trail and maybe having a scavenger hunt.
