was hiking the tillamook head trail a month ago and bumped into a blonde girl named emma. maybe early 20s. drove a white dodge. she had her golden doodle with her. was wondering if she was somewhere on here? there was no cell service so she wrote her number on a napkin. napkin got tossed out. im sorry i hope you don't think i ghosted you on purpose 😪

Met a cutie outside the Mad Donkey bar. We shared a cigarette and talked about Bauhaus before your Uber came. I have been kicking myself for not asking for your number. Where are you, Lila? :-)

My dad called me up today and asked if I could help find a man he met on Monday. He took his tent to Oswald West State Park and forgot his water canteen. He asked a guy camping close by if he had any spare water bottles. Apparently, they really hit it off and were immediate friends, but my dad forgot to ask for his number to keep in touch. He's not great with online stuff, so he asked me to help. All I really know about the guy is that his name is Scott, he owns an auto shop, is widowed, has white hair, and lives somewhere in Cannon Beach. For more context, my dad’s name is Stephen, he's a veteran, and in his 60s.

Please help my dad find his friend!

You were the one recommending books to a stranger (me) in the tiny shop on Bay Street like you'd personally read every single one on the shelf. I bought two just because of how you talked about them.

You were pulling in crab pots off the pier before sunrise, moving like you'd done it a thousand times. I was the only other person crazy enough to be out there that early, just to watch the sky change color.

This view never gets old! I love you Astoria <3

You were the one standing in front of the same painting at the little gallery downtown for what felt like ten straight minutes. I finally asked what you saw in it. You said "the same thing you probably do." We never actually said what that was.

To the man at the crabbing dock who patiently untangled my crab ring from his without a single complaint, even though I clearly had no idea what I was doing — thank you for not laughing at me out loud, at least not until I'd walked away.

You were flying a bright red kite by yourself at the kite festival, completely unbothered by the wind knocking it sideways every few minutes. I clapped when you finally got it steady. You gave a little bow like you'd been performing for me all along.

I am a self-proclaimed coffee snob (sue me), so I’ve been meticulously trying my local coffee shops. I went to Espresso Mill & Bakery last week and, no joke, this exact iced coffee made it into my Top Ten list. I've been back a couple of times since, but I haven't seen the same girl working. The coffee is still great, but it doesn't taste like it did the first time. Brown hair, septum piercing, and super friendly. She was wearing a Joy Division shirt. Barista Girl, where are you??!
