My dad called me up today and asked if I could help find a man he met on Monday. He took his tent to Oswald West State Park and forgot his water canteen. He asked a guy camping close by if he had any spare water bottles. Apparently, they really hit it off and were immediate friends, but my dad forgot to ask for his number to keep in touch. He's not great with online stuff, so he asked me to help. All I really know about the guy is that his name is Scott, he owns an auto shop, is widowed, has white hair, and lives somewhere in Cannon Beach. For more context, my dad’s name is Stephen, he's a veteran, and in his 60s.

I may know a Scott with an auto shop. We passed by Astoria on a road trip when my chevy pickup broke down on the side of the road. Scott fixed it right up. That was ten.ish years ago, maybe it 's the same guy. I will ask my wife to email you if I remember the specifics.
